Kelly Clarkson’s 8-Year-Old Son Astonishes Audience with Stunning Frank Sinatra Cover!

He’s a chip off the old block. On the Nov. 27 episode of “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” the Grammy winner shared a video of her son, Remy, 8, warming up the audience before the show by singing Frank Sinatra’s classic “My Way.”

“He sang, ‘I planned each charted course / Each careful step along the byway / And more, much more than this / I did it my way,’ while Clarkson’s band backed him up and the audience, including Clarkson’s daughter, cheered him on.

Clarkson, who shares both children with ex-husband Brandon Blackstock, was a proud mother afterward.

‘He just walked right in today and said, “Who do I need to speak to to sing my song?” I said, “OK, sir,”‘ she joked. ‘They’re so fun. I love my kids so much.’

This isn’t the first time one of Clarkson’s kids has showcased their musical talents. Her daughter contributed to her mother’s song “You Don’t Make Me Cry,” from the deluxe version of Clarkson’s 2023 album, “Chemistry.”

‘We just loved it and it fit in with the record, and she came into the studio and said, “Can I sing?”‘ Clarkson told the 3rd hour of TODAY last year as part of the Citi Concert Series. ‘And so my producer just took my vocal off completely and just let her sing on the track. It’s so cute.'”

Kelly Clarkson’s son, Remy, captivated the audience on his mother’s show with his rendition of Frank Sinatra’s “My Way.” Despite his son’s impressive performance, the “Since U Been Gone” singer isn’t necessarily expecting her children to follow in her musical footsteps.

“I’m not going to push,” she said. “I’m a parent—whatever you want to do, I’m supportive. It’s hard for me to sit here and say, ‘Don’t do this; it’s a hard industry,’ because I’m in it. I think kids who grow up around it are naturally inspired or may want to be part of it. So I understand if they do, but they could also be a teacher or a doctor or anything else.”

In 2023, Clarkson also brought her kids onstage during one of her concerts, sharing memorable moments with them in the spotlight.

“It was the most magical thing to be onstage,” she told TODAY last year during the same Citi Concert Series appearance, noting they both “had so much fun.”

Clarkson also joked the kids looked at her like “I was Thor.”

“I felt like I was a superhero to (them). It was the most magical feeling as a parent that they look at you in that way,” she added.
