Life’s Blessing Amidst Joy and Loss

Life is a Blessing…”

Since childhood, my parents taught me that life is a precious gift from God. I’ve always believed this because even the chance to experience life, however brief, feels sacred. God created us, blessed us, and left traces of wonder in the intricate beauty of the universe and the miracle of existence itself.

I believe that life had a beginning because its complexity is too profound to be mere chance. Take birth, for example—each new life is a marvel. Watching a child grow is one of the most awe-inspiring experiences in this world, reminding us that children are gifts to be cherished.

As I look deeper into human anatomy, I can’t help but see a divine touch. Our bodies, with their incredible structures and functions, seem too perfectly designed to have come about randomly. To me, this complexity is evidence of God’s hand in creation—a wise Designer behind the mystery of life.

Yet, two years ago, my faith was shaken. When my little sister passed away, I felt a deep sense of loss that left me questioning. Despite my prayers, nothing could bring her back. It left a scar on my heart, one that no amount of faith can erase, and I began to wonder why such pain is part of the life God gifted us.

Life is still a blessing, but I’ve learned it comes with questions and challenges, ones that don’t always have easy answers.
